Who we are


EcoResilience Initiative (ERI) is a research organization that promotes the world's most effective biodiversity and ecosystem interventions for donors. We conduct research, advocacy, and plan to forward donations to recommended interventions. We operate internationally with team members in the US, EU, and UK.

  • Google Workspace (for email management)

These platforms implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures. As US-based services, they transfer data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.


International Transfers


Since we operate internationally and use US-based platforms, your data may be transferred outside the EU. We ensure these transfers are protected by:

  • The platforms' compliance with international data protection frameworks


How Long We Keep Your Data


We retain your personal data for:

  • Active contacts: Up to 5 years from last meaningful interaction
  • Inactive contacts: Reviewed annually and deleted if no longer relevant to our mission
  • Communication records: Retained alongside contact information
  • Website analytics data: Automatically deleted by Google Analytics after 26 months

We conduct annual data cleanup reviews to ensure we only retain data that remains relevant and necessary.
